This house flag and garden banner feature two versions of my artwork "Macy's 1883" which despicts my imagined recreation of a winter night in NYC in 1883 when Macy's debuted their first holiday store windows. The design reads like a page from a winter evening: bright, joyful cars rolling past lamp-lit windows and wreathed doors. Hung from a standard garden pole or draped on a post, it settles into the scene and makes a place feel lived-in and ready for visitors. Its vibrant printing keeps the colors lively against gray skies, and the double-sided print ensures the image and text read from either side. For winter nights, holiday yard displays, or house-front greeting, this banner adds a handcrafted, storybook touch that neighbors notice and children point to.
